DIVES MED. - GLYCOLIC PEEL 50%

Dives Med 50% Glycolic Peel is a powerful chemical peel that, thanks to its high glycolic acid concentration (50%) and low pH (1.9), penetrates deeply into the skin. Its strong exfoliating properties result in intense removal of dead skin cells, leading to visible peeling and skin renewal. The peel stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, firming and thickening the skin structure, improving elasticity and reducing wrinkles.

It has keratolytic effects, cleanses sebaceous glands, regulates sebum secretion, and reduces comedones. Regular use helps smooth acne scars, even out skin tone, and reduce sun and post-inflammatory pigmentation. After treatment, the skin becomes radiant, rejuvenated, visibly cleansed, and regenerated. Due to the intensity of the treatment, professional application and appropriate post-treatment care are required. Exfoliation time and possible irritation are a natural part of the regeneration process.

The procedure requires neutralization and a proper protocol, and the frequency is determined by the physician, adjusting the number of sessions and intervals to the individual needs of the patient.

This peel is an effective solution for mature, tired skin showing signs of aging, acne-prone skin, with pigmentation and enlarged pores, which needs deep renewal and revitalization.

Basic protocol:

• Thoroughly cleanse the skin,
• Degrease the skin using Pre Peel Lotion 1,
• Protect sensitive areas (eyes with damp compresses, sides of the nose, corners of the mouth with oily ointment or petroleum jelly),
• Pour 2.5 to 5 ml of peel into a measuring cup, depending on the treated area. Apply quickly and evenly, starting from the forehead and continuing to the cheeks, chin, perioral area, and nose. The patient may feel tingling or itching, which subsides after neutralization. Fanning or ventilating is recommended to reduce this sensation,
• Rinse the treated area with a gauze moistened with water after the specified exposure time, starting from the central area, cheeks, and ending with the forehead,
• Spray the treated area with a generous amount of neutralizing solution from the kit and leave for 4-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water,
• Optionally, apply a mask to soothe and regenerate the skin,
• Massage in post-treatment cream until fully absorbed,
• Apply a moisturizing SPF50+ sunscreen to protect the skin from harmful UV radiation.

INDICATIONS

• All skin types,
• Stage II skin aging: moderate photoaging, superficial and medium wrinkles, expression lines,
• Sagging skin with progressive aging,
• Problematic skin with acne lesions,
• Acne scars,
• Uneven skin texture and enlarged pores,
• Sun and post-inflammatory pigmentation,
• Hyperkeratosis,
• Can be applied to any body area.

PEEL APPLICATION

Exposure time depends on skin type, thickness, condition, and desired therapeutic response.

Recommended approximate maximum application times (minutes):

• Superficial peel - 1-2 layers up to 5 minutes,
• Medium-depth peel - 2-4 layers for 5-10 minutes,
• Deep peel - 2-4 layers over 10 minutes,
• Recommended number of sessions: 4-6 sessions at 10-14 day intervals,
• Maintenance session frequency: every 6 months.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES

• Fan brush - recommended for gel-like peels,
• Gauze - for liquid solutions, using gauze allows enhanced depth and targeted action (spots, wrinkles, acne scars) with minimal spreading,
• Cotton pads - ideal for small or hard-to-reach areas: lip area, eye area, or spot treatments (age spots, deep wrinkles).

Pre-procedure indications:

• No other peels (dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, ultrasonic peels, etc.) 3 weeks prior,
• Avoid exfoliating or irritating substances 5 days before,
• Avoid dyeing, bleaching, waxing, or shaving the treated area 5 days before (24 hours for men),
• Avoid tanning beds or prolonged sun exposure.
• Chemical peel can be performed 1 week after filler injections or tattoo procedures.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Hypersensitivity or allergy to any peel ingredient,
• Oral isotretinoin or other retinoid therapy within 6 months,
• Autoimmune diseases, chronic disorders, or dermatologic conditions,
• Radiotherapy,

• Facial herpes,
• Open or partially open wounds,
• Active acne with open wounds or infections,
• Areas with micropigmentation,
• Patients with unstable psychological profile.
