DIVES med. Mandelic Peel 40% is a professional year-round chemical peel designed for skin revitalization in aesthetic medicine clinics, offering effective results with minimal risk of irritation, making it an exceptionally safe choice for doctors and their patients. Thanks to its unique formula based on 40% mandelic acid, the product effectively reduces wrinkles, evens skin tone, and provides deep hydration, while also acting anti-acne and normalizing keratinization.

DIVES med. Mandelic Peel is a treatment set designed for professionals that ensures comprehensive skin rejuvenation through gentle yet effective exfoliation. Its formula works gradually due to the large mandelic acid molecule, allowing controlled penetration into deeper skin layers and cumulative effects in long-term therapy. The product can be used throughout the year, including summer, as it does not sensitize the skin to UV exposure, which is a significant advantage compared to other AHA acids.

Basic protocol:

• thoroughly cleanse the skin,
• degrease the skin using Pre Peel Lotion 1,
• protect sensitive areas such as eyes (with moistened compresses), nostrils, and corners of the mouth (with greasy ointment or petroleum jelly),
• pour 2.5–5 ml of peel into the measuring cup, depending on the treated area. Apply the peel quickly and evenly – starting from the forehead and continuing on the cheeks, chin, perioral area, and nose. The patient may feel tingling or itching, which will subside after neutralization. It is recommended to fan or ventilate the area to minimize this sensation,
• after the designated exposure time, wipe the treated area with a water-soaked gauze, starting from the central parts of the face, cheeks, and ending at the forehead,
• spray the treatment area generously with the neutralizing solution from the set and leave it on for 2–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water,
• apply a soothing and regenerating mask,
• massage in a post-treatment cream until fully absorbed,
• apply a moisturizing SPF50+ sunscreen to protect the skin from harmful UV radiation.

INDICATIONS

• Skin showing first signs of aging and fine wrinkles,
• Skin with pigmentation spots and uneven tone,
• Acne-prone skin and inflamed hair follicles,
• Skin affected by photoaging,
• Sensitive skin requiring gentle revitalization,
• Skin with slowed cellular renewal process.

PEEL APPLICATION

Exposure time depends on the type, thickness, and condition of the skin, as well as the desired therapeutic response.

Recommended maximum approximate application time: 2–20 minutes

Recommended number of layers: 1–4 layers

Recommended number of sessions: 4–8 sessions at intervals of 10–14 days,

Exfoliation intensity: level 2 out of 5,

Maintenance frequency: follow-up session every 6 months.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES

• fan brush – brush application is particularly recommended for peels with a gel consistency,
• gauze – for liquid solutions, the use of gauze is recommended. Application with a gauze pad enhances the effectiveness and depth of the chemical peel in specific areas (spots, wrinkles, acne scars) with slight rubbing on the treated areas. The mechanical action caused by friction intensifies the effect,
• cotton pads – ideal for applying in small or hard-to-reach areas: perioral region, eye area, or localized imperfections (age spots, deep wrinkles).

COMPOSITION

• Mandelic Acid (40%) a large-molecule AHA acid derived from bitter almonds; stimulates collagen and elastin production, improves skin texture, and reduces the appearance of pores.

• Mandelic Peel – 50ml,

Pre-procedure indications:

• No other peels (dermabrasion, microdermabrasion, ultrasonic peels, etc.) 3 weeks prior,
• Avoid exfoliating or irritating substances 5 days before,
• Avoid dyeing, bleaching, waxing, or shaving the treated area 5 days before (24 hours for men),
• Avoid tanning beds or prolonged sun exposure.
• Chemical peel can be performed 1 week after filler injections or tattoo procedures.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Hypersensitivity or allergy to any peel ingredient,
• Oral isotretinoin or other retinoid therapy within 6 months,
• Autoimmune diseases, chronic disorders, or dermatologic conditions,
• Radiotherapy,
• Recent dermatologic procedure,
• Keloids or hypertrophic scars,
• Facial herpes,
• Open or partially open wounds,
• Active acne with open wounds or infections,
• Areas with micropigmentation,
• Patients with unstable psychological profile.
