Hyaluronidase works by breaking down the chains of hyaluronic acid, causing it to dissolve. It is used in aesthetic medicine as a means to remove or correct the effects of incorrectly administered hyaluronic acid-based fillers. This action degrades hyaluronic acid molecules, helping in faster substance absorption and restoring a natural look.
