RESTYLANE^® LIDOCAINE

Thanks to advanced technology, the Galderma company has created hyaluronic acid that's 99% similar to the natural acid found in the body. This acid is stabilized and is not of animal origin.

The NASHA particle size in RESTYLANE^® products is adapted to the tissue structure of a given skin layer. Although the concentration of hyaluronic acid in all RESTYLANE^® products is the same, they differ in particle size and injection depth. This makes RESTYLANE^® a comprehensive product line suitable for various types and depths of wrinkles, allowing for a natural-looking effect.

The products have a high lifting and firming capability with minimal injection volume. The effect lasts 6-12 months depending on the skin condition. After this period, RESTYLANE® is naturally absorbed.

RESTYLANE^® was the first hyaluronic acid product approved in the USA by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for aesthetic medicine.

The product contains lidocaine, which makes the procedure painless and eliminates the need for prior anesthesia.

RESTYLANE^® Lidocaine represents a new class of hyaluronic acid that maintains the right level of skin hydration, restoring its elasticity and firmness, providing a lifting effect.

For optimal, long-lasting results, a series of 3 treatments at 3-4 week intervals is recommended. Single treatments should be repeated every 3-5 months to maintain the effect.

INDICATIONS

Filling medium-depth wrinkles such as:

• nasolabial folds,
• forehead smoothness,
• brow arch area,
• lion's wrinkle,
• filling the tear trough,
• lifting mouth corners.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• In areas or surrounding areas where there are inflammatory conditions or skin infections (acne, rash),
• In combination with peelings, laser therapy, and dermabrasion,
• Tendency to form hypertrophic scars,
• Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, mannitol, lidocaine hydrochloride, or locally applied anesthetics,
• Patients with porphyria,
• Reduced blood clotting,
• Allergy, including to chromium and nickel,
• Taking blood-thinning medications (e.g., Aspirin, Polocard),
• Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children,
• Menstruation,
• Taking antibiotics (up to 2 weeks after completing antibiotic therapy).

TREATMENT METHOD

The treatment should be carried out by a specialist familiar with the administration method.

The recommended depth of injection depends on the type of wrinkles and the chosen technique.

Patients should be informed about possible side effects and risks before the treatment. It is recommended to use a prior anesthetic before applying the solution.

After treatment, slight swelling, redness, or minor bruises may occur, which disappear after a few hours to a few days.
