JUVÉDERM^® ULTRA 3

JUVÉDERM Ultra 3 belongs to the family of fillers based on cross-linked non-animal hyaluronic acid, which is produced using Allergan's patented Hylacross technology. Hyaluronic acid is completely biodegradable, meaning it will undergo a natural enzymatic reaction and be broken down and absorbed by the body. Juvederm Ultra 3 not only moisturizes the skin but also tightens it, resulting in smooth and younger-looking skin. The product contains lidocaine to reduce pain during and after the procedure. This allows the patient to return to their daily activities almost immediately, as redness and swelling after the treatment are almost invisible.

The gel's consistency is smooth, ensuring easy injection and high precision, even in shallow layers of the dermis. The effects of the procedure can last up to 12 months.

INDICATIONS

• Filling of medium and deep wrinkles through injection into the medium and/or deep layers of the skin (such as medium nasolabial folds, marionette lines),
• Lip enhancement,
• Lip contouring.

COMPOSITION

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid HA: 24 mg/ml

Lidocaine: 0.3%

Phosphate buffer pH: 7.2 q.s.p. 1 g

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Allergy to hyaluronic acid,
• Inflammatory and/or infectious skin condition,
• Tendency to develop hypertrophic scars,
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding,
• Antibiotic therapy,
• In combination with deep chemical peels, laser light, and dermabrasion,
• Do not inject the product into the eyelid area.

TREATMENT METHOD

The procedure should be performed by a specialist familiar with the injection technique.

The recommended injection depth depends on the type of wrinkles and the chosen technique. Juvederm Ultra 3 is indicated only for injections into the medium and/or deep layers of the skin and into the mucous membrane of the lips.

Before the procedure, patients should be informed about possible side effects and risks. The area to be treated should be thoroughly disinfected. The product should be injected slowly into the skin.

After the procedure, mild swelling, redness, or minor bruising may occur, which will disappear within a few hours to several days.

STORAGE

Store at a temperature of 2 to 25°C. Protect from sunlight and freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
