JUVÉDERM^® ULTRA 2

JUVÉDERM Ultra 2 belongs to the family of fillers based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, produced using Allergan's patented Hylacross technology. Hyaluronic acid is entirely biodegradable, undergoing a natural enzymatic reaction and being broken down and reabsorbed by the body. Juvederm Ultra 2 not only moisturizes the skin but also tightens it, leaving the skin smooth and more youthful. The product contains lidocaine, reducing pain during and after the procedure, allowing the patient to return to their daily activities as redness and swelling after the treatment are almost invisible.

The gel's consistency is smooth, ensuring ease of injection and high precision of administration, even in shallow layers of the dermis. The effects of the treatment can last up to 12 months.

INDICATIONS

• Filling medium-depth wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, smile lines, crow's feet, vertical lip lines,
• Lip contouring.

COMPOSITION

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid HA: 24 mg/ml

Lidocaine: 0.3%

Phosphate buffer solution pH: 7.2 q.s.p. 1 g

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Allergy to hyaluronic acid,
• Inflammatory and/or skin infection,
• Tendency to develop hypertrophic scars,
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding,
• Antibiotic therapy,
• In combination with deep chemical peeling, laser light, and dermabrasion,
• The product should not be injected into the eyelid.

TREATMENT METHOD

The procedure should be performed by a specialist familiar with the method of administration.

The recommended injection depth depends on the type of wrinkles and the selected technique. Juvederm Ultra 2 is indicated only for intradermal injections and injections into the mucous membrane of the lips.

Before the procedure, patients should be informed about possible side effects and risks. The area to be treated should be thoroughly disinfected. The product should be injected slowly into the skin.

After the procedure, mild swelling, redness, or minor bruising may occur, which disappears within a few hours to several days.

STORAGE

Store at a temperature of 0 to 25°C. Protect from sunlight and freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
