JUVEDERM® ULTRA 4

Juvéderm® ULTRA is an advanced, cohesive, 3D hyaluronic acid matrix dermal filler with local anaesthetic, manufactured by Allergan.

Juvéderm® ULTRA contains non-animal, cross-linked hyaluronic acid with the addition of 0,3% lidocaine, local anaesthetic to provide more comfort both during and after injection.

Hyaluronic acid is completely broken down within the skin over a period of months, eventually leaving no trace of the filler. According to the manufacturer Juvéderm® ULTRA has enhanced stability and resistance to degradation by heat and the body’s metabolism, providing a duration of the product up to 12 months.

Juvederm® Ultra 4 contains a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid so that it can act upon the deeper wrinkle lines that have been around for a longer period of time. It will be injected into the deep contours of the face so that you can greatly reduce the depth of the wrinkles and create a smoother outlook. This formulation should not be injected into the glabella (frown lines) or into the areas under the eyes.
