JUVEDERM® VOLBELLA™ LIDOCAINE
Juvederm® VOLBELLA™ is a filler that contains concentrated, low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with short fibers. It was specifically designed to shape lips and smooth out fine wrinkles. The gel is very soft, malleable, invisible under the skin, and lightweight. It is another product from Allergan with the unique VYCROSS™ technology.
Juvederm® VOLBELLA™ is a very cohesive preparation, and clinical studies show that the effects last up to 12 months. Due to its smooth consistency, patients maintain a natural touch sensation.
Thanks to the added lidocaine, the patient feels no pain during injections, thus increasing comfort during the procedure.
With age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, leading to the appearance of fine wrinkles. With this product, we can also correct shadows and bags under the eyes. After the procedure, the sunken skin under the eyes will be filled, lifted, and revitalized. The wrinkles of the lower eyelid become shallower, and the skin is more moisturized. The risk of swelling under the eyes is significantly reduced compared to other fillers with dense hyaluronic acid.
VYCROSS™ Technology involves the use of a unique, patented combination of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which increases the degree of cross-linking its chains. Improved cross-linking allows for the use of hyaluronic acid at a lower concentration while maintaining its excellent filling abilities and reducing swelling.
INDICATIONS
- Restore the natural volume of lips,
- Give shape to the lips,
- Smooth out fine vertical lines appearing around the lips, e.g., "smoker's lines",
- Smooth out depressions in the corners of the lips,
- Increase the Cupid's bow,
- Fine wrinkles,
- Shadows under the eyes,
- Gentle "sinking" of the eye socket skin.

Concentration of hyaluronic acid: 15 mg/ml
Lidocaine: 0.3%
Phosphate solution pH 7.2 q.s.p.: 1 g

CONTRAINDICATIONS
- allergy to hyaluronic acid,
- inflammatory condition and/or skin infection,
- propensity to form hypertrophic scars,
- pregnancy and breastfeeding period,
- antibiotic therapy,
- in conjunction with deep chemical peeling, laser light, and dermabrasion,
- do not inject the product into the eyelid.
TREATMENT METHOD
The procedure should be performed by a specialist familiar with the administration method.
The recommended injection depth depends on the type of wrinkles and the chosen technique. Juvederm Volbella is indicated only for injections into the superficial dermis, mid-dermis, or lip mucosa. The treatment area should be massaged after injection to ensure proper product distribution.
Before the procedure, patients should be informed about potential side effects and risks. The area to be treated should be thoroughly disinfected. The product should be injected slowly into the skin.
After the procedure, slight swelling, redness, or minor bruises may occur, which disappear after a few hours to several days.
STORAGE
Store at temperatures between 2 and 25°C. Protect from sunlight and frost. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
